Week 4 Day 2
In other words, 7.5 days til St. Lucia!
Boys and girls, I have been working my little patoot off these last three weeks. I've been working out 6 days a week, eating averaging around 1600-1700 calories a day. Lo and behold I weigh in last week and I'm up 7 pounds. I had a major hissy...cute scotsman and bodyfat/inches staying the same were the only things that kept my sanity.
So BLAH! I say. FUCK YOU MR SCALE!! FUCK YOU PCOS!!!
After calling the entire NY specialist universe, I finally found one that 1)works with my insurance 2)doesn't cost $600 for an initial visit and 3)can see me before 2006. I've written down the Reader's Digest version of my fucked up weight loss history and I see him on February 8. In the meantime I have to pony up, be brave and try to get a copy of my last endo records.
I've not given up and I promise no Ben and Jerry therapy until February 8th. I re read the Insulin Resistance Diet book and am working that as my carbs were sneakily creeping up and I do think balancing works best.
In the meantime, I would love to see some muscle, feel stronger, more in control..something to get my mind over that horrid scale.
