Doctor Visit
Wow..I was so excited about the tattoo, I forgot about the doctor!
The doctor visit was good. He was happy to see that I was coping with the calorie cut and said the planning and banking (the one meal a week deal) was working.
Bloodwork: Cholesterol high, testosterone a good number and insulin still up a bit. He wants me to stay on the 1500mg of metformin and see him in a month. We'll do more bloods in 3 months and by then he seems to think that with diet, exercise and meds the insulin and cholesterol will correct itself.
So that's really it! My average is up from 1200-1400 and he said not to go under the 1200 point until I "need" to.
That's about it! I really like this guy though...he actually took the time to look at my food journals and ask me lifestyle questions and how I was doing. It was actually interactive dialogue which I have to say is kind of a first for me in the doctor/patient relationship.
Just one more note on the tattoo and I promise to shut up about it lol. The one on my back did not hurt at all...the ankle did indeed hurt like a bitch!!! But the pain is so worth it and am already planning my next one. The person that said it's addictive is completely right..it so is which is why I spaced out the time between #1 and #2.
WOO!

1 to the throne
I weighed myself this morning and I'm down another 3lbs this week which makes it 10 lbs total since this "eat really low/clean 6 days a week and then have one real meal" plan. I'm excited to see what the doc says on Monday about the results and have to admit that I'm getting used to this style of eating...after all it is much easier when you are actually seeing results right? I am 1 lb away from reclaming the 100lb throne and feel so much better about life than I did a month ago. If this is what it takes to get back to onederland then BRING IT ON!!
We'll see about getting skinnier when we get there!
For those interested in the numbers this week: daily average (averaging in the big meal) - 1450 Gym - 4x no dairy animal protein - 1x per day starch - 1x per day
and TWO weeks to St Lucia!
